x Heucherella Fun and Games® 'Eye Spy' (Foamy Bells) is a compact perennial forming a low mound of deeply-cut, amber-yellow maple leaves with deep rose centers, maturing to chartreuse green with a silver overlay. In late spring, sprays of small bubblegum pink flowers are borne on slender stems rising up to 16 in. (40 cm) above the foliage. They bloom for many weeks, providing a pretty floral display. A great choice for adding drama to mixed containers, rock gardens, and the front of mixed borders. Evergreen in mild climates.
- Grows up to 8-10 in. tall (20-25 cm) with a spread of 16-20 in. (40-50 cm).
- Performs best in fertile, moist, but well-drained soil in sun, partial shade, or shade. Mulch annually.
- A spectacular addition to beds and borders, woodland gardens, and rock gardens and is ideal as an edger along paths or in containers. Fabulous when planted in groups!
- Remove stems of faded flowers and dead leaves.
- Keep an eye out for vine weevils and rust diseases.
- Propagate by division in autumn.
- Divide every few years.
