A great choice for adding drama to mixed containers, rock gardens, and the front of mixed borders. Evergreen in mild climates.

  • Grows up to 10-16 in. tall (25-40 cm) with a spread of 16 in. (40 cm).
  • Performs best in fertile, moist, but well-drained soil in sun, partial shade, or shade. Mulch annually.
  • A spectacular addition to beds and borders, woodland gardens, and rock gardens and is ideal as an edger along paths or in containers. Fabulous when planted in groups!
  • Remove stems of faded flowers and dead leaves.
  • Keep an eye out for vine weevils and rust diseases.
  • Propagate by division in autumn.
  • Divide every few years.
