x Heucherella Fun and Games® 'Hopscotch' (Foamy Bells) is a compact perennial forming a low mound of deeply-cut, dark red leaves in spring maturing to deep green in summer. In late spring, sprays of small creamy-white flowers are borne on slender stems rising up to 24 in. (60 cm) above the foliage. A great choice for adding drama to mixed containers, rock gardens, and the front of mixed borders. Evergreen in mild climates.
- Grows up to 10-12 in. tall (25-30 cm) with a spread of 20-24 in. (50-60 cm).
- Performs best in fertile, moist, but well-drained soil in sun, partial shade, or shade. Mulch annually.
- A spectacular addition to beds and borders, woodland gardens, and rock gardens and is ideal as an edger along paths or in containers. Fabulous when planted in groups!
- Remove stems of faded flowers and dead leaves.
- Keep an eye out for vine weevils and rust diseases.
- Propagate by division in autumn.
- Divide every few years.
