In mid to late spring, wands of lightly fragrant, frosted pink flowers with a white interior are borne above the foliage. Use as a groundcover in the woodland or shade garden. Good under shrubs or roses. Evergreen in mild winter climates.

  • Grows up to 8-12 in. tall and wide (20-30 cm).
  • Performs best in cool, moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil in partial shade or full shade. Protect from excessive winter wet.
  • A pretty addition to beds and borders, woodland gardens, cottage gardens or rock gardens. Great as a groundcover, for edging or underplanting shrubs and roses.
  • Generally pest and disease free. Keep an eye out for slugs and powdery mildews. Deer resistant.
  • Propagate by division in spring.
