Loropetalum chinense ‘Carolina Moonlight’ (Chinese Fringe Flower) is a bushy evergreen shrub of compact, upright to arching habit with thick and very small olive green leaves. In late winter to early spring, it produces abundant clusters of creamy-white, spidery flowers, each with narrow, twisted, inch-long petals. The luminous blossoms stand out against the evergreen foliage which provides interest to the landscape all year long. Deer resistant and drought tolerant, this pretty evergreen shrub is perfect as an accent or in mass plantings. It makes a lovely hedge along the entryway, looks great in perennial borders or in containers.

Best flower production and leaf color in full sun, although this plant appreciates some afternoon shade. Shelter from cold winds and provide winter protection. Drought tolerant once established.
