Noted for its large silver-green leaves, Eucalyptus pauciflora subsp. debeuzevillei (Jounama Snow Gum) is a small, single or multi-stemmed, evergreen tree of open habit. It boasts a fantastic smooth bark flaking in ribbons from both the trunk and branches into shiny white, cream, green and gray patches.

The foliage is blue-green, broadly elliptic when juvenile, glossy olive green and lance-shaped when adult. In late spring and early summer, clusters of 9-15 creamy-white flowers are borne amongst the foliage. Easy to grow, tolerant of cold, windy and exposed conditions, Jouana Snow Gum makes a splendid ornamental tree for costal exposed locations and most gardens.
