Eucalyptus coccifera (Tasmanian Snow Gum)

Eucalyptus coccifera (Tasmanian Snow Gum) is a spreading, evergreen tree boasting beautiful twisted branches and striking, smooth mottled bark, a lovely mix of light gray to creamy-white, often tinged with pink. The peppermint scented foliage is heart-shaped when juvenile, lance-shaped, blue-green when adult.

Eucalyptus coccifera (Tasmanian Snow Gum) is a spreading, evergreen tree boasting beautiful twisted branches and striking, smooth mottled bark, a lovely mix of light gray to creamy-white, often tinged with pink. The peppermint scented foliage is heart-shaped when juvenile, lance-shaped, blue-green when adult. It is borne on magnificent scarlet red stems. In summer, abundant clusters of creamy-white flowers are borne amongst the foliage. This Eucalyptus tolerates exposed conditions and has a high tolerance to frost and to drought. It is prized as a garden specimen for its decorative trunk, ornamental bark and elegant foliage.
