Rich with a peppermint fragrance when bruised, the narrow, pale blue-green leaves, 3-5 in. long (7-12 cm), are borne on contrasting red stems and hang gracefully from the branches to create a soft canopy. From summer to early fall, abundant umbels of 7 white flowers are produced amongst the foliage. This Eucalyptus makes a lovely specimen or street tree.

  • Performs best in full sun or part shade in average to moderately fertile soil. Protect from cold, drying winds. This Eucalyptus does poorly in wet soils. Excessive watering can cause chlorosis. Drought tolerant.
