Malus – Crabapples
Malus (Crabapples) are small to medium-sized deciduous trees with pretty, scented, pure white to deep pink flowers in spring. In the fall, small, attractively colored fruit like miniature apples clustered along the stems. Any unpicked fruits will remain colorful and decorative through the winter until flocks of wild birds feast on them. Some often have good autumn leaf color as well. Elegant in flower, colorful in fruit, these flowering trees star in every season of the year.
