Award-winning x Heucherella 'Tapestry' (Foamy Bells) is a compact perennial forming a lush mound of intricately patterned sage green, brown, and chestnut leaves. Free flowering, elegant sprays of small pinkish flowers appear in summer just above the foliage. A great choice for adding drama to mixed containers, rock gardens and the front of the border. Noted for its tolerance to heat and humidity, it is evergreen in mild climates.
- Recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society.
- Grows up to 7-20 in. tall (17-50 cm) with a spread of 16 in. (40 cm).
- Performs best in fertile, moist, but well-drained soil in partial shade or shade. Mulch annually.
- A spectacular addition to beds and borders, woodland gardens, rock gardens and is ideal as an edger along paths or in containers. Fabulous when planted in groups!
- Remove stems of faded flowers and dead leaves.
- Keep an eye out for vine weevils and rust diseases.
- Propagate by division in autumn.
- Divide every few years.
