Zinnia 'Eldorado' features rounded, fully double flowers packed with attractive salmon orange petals and opening up to 3-4 in. across (7-10 cm). Resembling dahlias, they are borne on very long, sturdy stems above the foliage of lance-shaped leaves, and make a big statement in the landscape. Blooming profusely over a lengthy season extending from early summer to frost, this showy annual is a vigorous and excellent performer in all climates. Looking stunning in the sunny perennial border, its tall stems and long vase life, make it wonderful for cutting.

  • Forms a dense, compact mound up to 30-36 in. tall (75-90 cm) and 18 in. wide (45 cm).
  • Extremely easy to grow, Zinnias are annuals which love full sun and prefer a humusy, evenly moist and well-draining soil.
  • Great choice for the back of sunny beds and borders or large containers. Excellent pick for the cutting garden!
  • Adored by butterflies, hummingbirds and birds.
  • Don't crowd them to keep them disease-free and avoid powdery mildew. Air circulation is important!
  • Among the easiest plants to grow from seed, you can start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before the last first date, should you wish earlier spring blooms.
