Spreading slowly by rhizomes, Thread-Like Meadow Rue can form a pretty colony where happy.
- Grows up to 12-24 in. tall (30-60 cm) and 20 in. wide (50 cm).
- Thrives in humus-rich, moist soils in part shade.
- Fits beautifully in any beds and borders, city gardens, cottage gardens,coastal gardens,rock gardens or wildflower gardens. Great for cutting too!
- Cut down stems once flowering is over
- Easy to grow, this plant is generally pest free. Keep an eye out for powdery mildews.
- Propagate by seed in pots in a cold frame as soon as seed is ripe or in early spring. Propagate by division in spring as new growth begins.
