Opening from long, elegant buds, the brilliant blossoms are borne on unusual red stems and packed with up to 37 petals. They emit an intense sweet spice and fruit fragrance. Blooming profusely in flushes from spring to fall, they contrast nicely with the foliage of semi-glossy, dark green leaves. A tall, upright shrub, armed with thorns, which is both vigorous and disease resistant.
