Vigorous, bushy, upright, handsomely shaped shrub with large, glossy, dark green leaves which provide an ideal backdrop for its summer-long floral display.

  • Grows up to 3-5 ft. tall (90-150 cm) with a 2-3 ft. spread (60-90 cm).
  • An excellent choice for beds and borders or containers. Great cut flowers.
  • Best grown in full sun, in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils.
  • Good disease resistance. Some susceptibility to blackspot.
  • Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
  • Bred by Tom Carruth (United States, 2001).
