Very floriferous, Rosa Sexy Rexy is a compact variety of floribunda rose boasting small clusters of cupped, fully double, slightly-scented, soft pink flowers, up to 3 in. across (8 cm). Packed with up to 40 petals, the ravishing blossoms bloom profusely in flushes from late spring into fall. They stand out against the healthy foliage of semi-glossy, dark green leaves. Compact and bushy, this small shrub of upright, rounded habit is terrific for beds and borders and makes a lovely flowering hedge. Good disease resistance.

  • Grows up 4-5 ft. tall and wide (120-150 cm).
  • Best grown in full sun in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils. For best flowering apply a balanced fertilizer and mulch in late winter or early spring and a balanced fertilizer again in early summer.
  • Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer
  • Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
  • Bred by Samuel Darragh McGredy IV (1978).
