Rosa Open Arms (Rambling Rose)

A miniature rambler, Rosa Open Arms is a vigorous climbing rose with arching shoots adorned by fragrant, single, salmon-pink flowers, 1.5 in. across (4 cm). Pleasantly scented, the blooms (6-14 petals) open to reveal their golden stamens and gradually fade to pale pink as they mature. Free flowering, this rambler rose blooms continuously throughout the summer into the fall.

Free flowering, this rambler rose blooms continuously throughout the summer into the fall. Easy to train, the stems bear very small, narrow, healthy leaves. Perfect for small gardens, Rose 'Open Arms' is a great choice for walls, fences, trellises or pillars. It may also be grown as a large shrub. Very good disease resistance.

  • Best grown in full sun, in rich, fertile, moist, well-drained soils. For best flowering apply a balanced fertilizer and mulch in late winter or early spring.
  • Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer.
