Considered by many as one of the best repeating climbers, Rosa 'New Dawn' features an unusually long flowering period, from early summer to fall. This fine rose features abundant clusters of 3 in. (8 cm), sweetly fragrant, shell-pink, semi-double flowers over a glossy, dark green foliage.

  • Highly popular worldwide, this old time favorite won many prestigious awards including the Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society and belongs to the Hall of Fame of the World Federation of Rose Societies.
  • Vigorously growing up to 10-15 ft. tall (300-450 cm) and 6-10 ft across (180-300 cm), this large-flowered climber is ideal as free-blooming climber for walls, arbors, fences or other garden structures.
  • Reliable and easy to grow, this deciduous rose enjoys excellent resistance to diseases.
  • Best grown in full sun to part shade, in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. It should be noted that both best disease resistance and flowering are achieved in full sun. Provide good air circulation to encourage growth and prevent diseases and do not forget to add summer mulch to retain moisture!
  • Beautiful fall colors thanks to its abundant crop of red hips!
  • New Dawn is a sport of Rose 'Dr. W. Van Fleet' and was introduced in 1930.
