It forms a vigorous shrub of open, arching habit with large, thick, deep green foliage. Can also be trained as a short climber.

  • Makes a handsome specimen shrub in the landscape. It is also a superb addition to the back of the border and can be grown as a climber if tied in to some support, such as a wall, trellis, fence or pillar.
  • Best grown in full sun or partial shade, in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils. Tolerates some shade.
