Rosa arkansana (Arkansas Rose)

Cold hardy and drought tolerant, Rosa arkansana (Arkansas Rose) is an upright, deciduous, suckering shrub with attractive, serrated, dark-green foliage that turns fiery orange-red in the fall. In summer, a profusion of fragrant, single, white to deep pink flowers appear in small clusters on densely prickly stems.
