Prunus – Plums

There are different types of plums to worth growing in your garden. European plums, including the very sweet and dark blue Prune plums, and the mouthwatering, yellow-green Reine Claude plums (‘Green Gage’). Slightly less sweet are the Oriental or Japanese plums with their large, round, and juicy fruits. Not to forget the American hybrids! Plum trees are compact, bountiful producers, which add beauty to the landscape and are less demanding than most fruit trees.
