The delicate blossoms are borne atop slender stems over the handsome basal foliage of silvery green, clove-like leaves. Easy to cultivate and maintain, this plant creeps underground via rhizomes eventually forming an attractive mat in the shade garden. Good choice for containers, woodland gardens, or indoors as a houseplant. Great as a groundcover in mild winter areas.
