Lavandula angustifolia Nana Alba (Lavender)

Compact and very floriferous, award-winner Lavandula angustifolia 'Nana Alba' is a wonderful dwarf Lavender variety with attractive snow-white flowers in short spikes atop silvery-green foliage. Perfect for containers, white gardens, or small gardens. Fairly hardy, 'Nana Alba' is loved by gardeners for its long-lasting color display, its delightful scent as well as the fashion in which its distinctive white flowers beautifully contrast with its light-green aromatic foliage.

• Blooms once in midsummer. Lavenders blooming once may have a second, smaller flush of flowers during the season and maybe a third one if the flowers are cut soon enough.
• Evergreen in warm winter climates, it grows in a compact 12 in. tall (30 cm) bushy shrub and spreads up to 20 in. (50 cm).
• This Lavender is very versatile and can be used in perennial borders, containers, rock gardens, or herb gardens. Its fragrant flowers may be dried and used in potpourris. Spectacular effect in mass plantings.
• Thrives in full sun and performs best in dry to medium, poor, light, sandy, and well-drained soils. Excellent drainage and air circulation are essential, specifically in hot, humid climates.
