Gaura lindheimeri Rosy Jane (Beeblossom)

Compact and eye-catching, Gaura lindheimeri 'Rosy Jane' (Beeblossom) is a bushy, clump-forming perennial with long, graceful stems studded with airy-looking, 4-petaled white flowers that are flushed pink along the edges. Blooming from late spring into early fall, they open from dark pink flower buds and flutter for months along the slender stems, resembling clouds of butterflies. The foliage consists of lance-shaped dark green leaves splashed with purple. Adding an interesting fine texture in the garden with its flowers dancing and dangling above the purple-tinged foliage, Gaura lindheimeri 'Rosy Jane' is excellent for mixed perennial borders, containers or cut flowers.
