  • Fairly resilient to most pests and diseases, deer and rabbit resistant and is easy to care for.
  • A part shade or full shade lover, it thrives in organically rich, moist and well-drained soils. Dry soils to be avoided! A cool site in partial shade or shade is preferred.
  • A remarkably low-maintenance plant, this excellent performer may be used as a specimen plant or massed as a ground cover. Perfect for beds and borders, banks and slopes or underplanting shrubs and roses.
  • Deadhead after flowering if self-seeding is not desired.
  • Pruning is essential for good looks and health. Promptly remove unsightly foliage, whether damaged from sun, drought, or pests.
