Award-winning Bergenia 'Eroica' is a clump-forming evergreen perennial noted for its good frost resistance, interesting foliage, and abundant flowering. Borne on tall bronze-green stems in early to mid-spring, erect clusters of vibrant purple-pink, bell-shaped flowers rise above the foliage of leathery, shiny, rounded leaves. Bronze green in summer, the large leaves gradually take on striking purple-red shades in winter, providing year-round interest. Low maintenance, Bergenia 'Eroica' is one of the most striking Bergenias in flower and looks stunning in mass plantings or as an edging plant along paths and walkways.
