Rich in nectar, they are highly attractive to bees, who will produce a richly flavored honey. The blossoms are followed by showy nutlets that ripen in late summer. The foliage turns yellow in the fall. Prized for its excellent rounded form and its moderate growth habit, Tilia henryana is a handsome shade, street or lawn tree.
