Cotinus – Smoke Trees

Noted for their extraordinary flower plumes which cover these deciduous shrubs with long-lasting fluffy, hazy ‘smoky’ puffs, Cotinus are also prized for their spectacular foliage of rounded leaves which produce magnificent fall color. Outstanding specimens in shrub borders, Cotinus are also wonderful for massing or for hedges. Easy to grow, virtually pest and disease free, low care, deer resistant and drought tolerant, they deserve a spot in the garden!
