Rosa The Alnwick Rose (English Rose)

Bred by David Austin, English Rose The Alnwick Rose is very beautiful with its broad, romantic, fully double, shallow cup of soft pink flowers. Even the buds are gorgeous! Rich with a delicious old-rose fragrance with a hint of raspberry, the numerous petals (120 petals per flower) are paler at the outer edges and perfectly arranged. A neat, healthy shrub that handles both hot and cold climates well.

• Blooming in flushes from late spring until frost, this is an excellent repeat bloomer that has been awarded the National Home Gardening Club Member Tested & Recommended Seal of Approval.
• Grows up to 4 feet tall (120 cm) and 2.5 feet wide (75 cm). This medium size rose bush forms a lovely, rounded shrub with lush, semi-glossy, medium green leaves that compliment the blooms to perfection.
• It is ideal for the back of the border or as hedges or screens. Plant it where you will be able to enjoy its perfume daily: near a doorway, along a path, near your patio or deck. Excellent as cut flowers.
• Best grown in full sun or partial shade in rich, fertile, well-drained soils with adequate moisture.
• This lovely rose was named after the formal gardens of the famous Alnwick Castle in Northumberland, England.
