Weigela florida My Monet® Sunset

Grown primarily for its brilliant foliage, Weigela florida My Monet® ‘Sunset’ is a dwarf, compact, deciduous shrub of rounded habit, noted for its tricolored variegation. Emerging in spring, narrowly ovate, gently rippled leaves line the gracefully arching branches. Adorned with sage green in their center, bright pink, and creamy-yellow edges, they turn attractive shades of gold and red in the fall. In spring to early summer, soft rosy-pink flowers will occasionally be produced.

  • Propagate by softwood cuttings in early summer, semi-ripe cuttings in summer or hardwood cuttings in late autumn and winter.
