Long-lasting, Tulip 'Violet Beauty' makes a sumptuous appearance in the garden with its goblet-shaped lavender flowers adorned with delicate pink veins and a white heart. A fabulous sight in beds and borders or in a vase! Blooming in late spring, this spectacular member of the Single Late Tulips group enjoys a sturdy stem that will withstand wind and rain!

  • Growing up to 20 inches tall (50 cm), this tulip creates dazzling harmonies with other late-season flowering bulbs. Looks sensational against contrasting bright yellow perennials (euphorbia) or white and lemon-yellow tulips such as the fringed pure white 'Swan's Wings', the cream tulip suffused with purple 'Shirley', or the yellow lily-flowered 'West Point'.
  • Performs best in full sun in rich, fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Prefers areas with cool winters and warm dry summers.
  • Easy to grow, this tulip is a welcomed addition to beds, borders, and containers. For best visual impact, plant in groups (at least 10 to 15 bulbs) or mixed with any other flowering bulbs. Excellent as cut flowers!
  • To be planted in fall.
  • All parts may cause severe discomfort following ingestion, and may cause an allergic skin reaction. Wear gloves and other protective equipment when handling.
  • Toxic to dogs, toxic to cats, toxic to horses.
