Tulip 'Elegant Lady' is an incredibly beautiful lily-flowered tulip featuring a creamy yellow flower with pointed and slightly reflexed petals with a delicate, warm pink flush. It is extremely elegant and graceful when swaying in the spring breeze. Blooming in the late spring garden, it was introduced in 1953 by Nieuwenhuis Bros, a well-acclaimed breeder of many wonderful lily-flowered tulips such as 'Ballade', 'Maytime', or West Point'.
