Tulipa batalinii Bronze Charm (Botanical Tulip)

Tulipa batalinii ‘Bronze Charm’ is an adorable bulbous perennial with pale orange-yellow flowers delicately flushed with bronze. The blossoms are proudly held on short stems just above the foliage of narrow blue-green leaves. Softly colored, they add a bright spot to a sunny rock garden, raised bed, or gravel garden.

  • Grows up to 6-8 in. tall (15 cm).
  • Performs best in full sun in fertile, preferably neutral or alkaline well-drained soil. Shelter from strong winds.
  • Easy to grow, this tulip is a welcomed addition to beds and borders, edging, rock gardens, or naturalized (grassy) areas. For best visual impact, plant in groups (at least 15 bulbs).
  • Keep an eye out for slugs, aphids, stem and bulb eelworm, tulip fire, and bulb rot.
  • Propagate by division of offsets, re-planting the larger bulbs, and growing on the smaller bulbs in a nursery bed.
  • To be planted in fall.
