Award-winning Tulip 'Barcelona' is one of the most outstanding tulips thanks to its intense fuchsia-purple flower, slightly magenta edged, and strong stem. Blooming in mid-late spring, this acclaimed member of the Triumph Tulips group enjoys a sturdy stem that will withstand wind and rain!
- Growing up to 18-20 inches tall (45-50 cm), this tulip creates dazzling harmonies with other flowering bulbs.
- Was twice granted the prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society
- Performs best in full sun in rich, fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Prefers areas with cool winters and warm, dry summers.
- Easy to grow, this tulip is a welcomed addition to beds, borders, containers, or for forcing. For best visual impact, plant in groups (at least 10 to 15 bulbs) or mixed with any other flowering bulbs. Excellent as cut flowers!
- To be planted in fall.
