Rosa Sharifa Asma (English Rose)

Repeat-flowering and one of the most fragrant of all English Roses, Rosa Sharifa Asma is one of the finest Roses. It produces beautiful, fully double, cupped blooms, 3-4 in. wide (7-10 cm), packed with many petals (over 90 petals) that will catch your eye. Delicately blushed at their heart, they gradually fade to creamy-white towards the outer petals. Richly fragrant, a mix of old rose, and myrrh with some fruity notes, the blossoms are elegantly held against the lovely green semi-glossy foliage. Short, bushy, with an upright habit, this Rose is also rain-tolerant.

• Blooming in flushes from late spring until frost, this Rose is an excellent repeat bloomer.
• Grows up to 4 feet tall (120 cm) and spreads 3 feet wide (90 cm). An excellent choice for beds and borders or containers. Perfect for small gardens! Spectacular when combined with the cool blue colors of salvia, nepeta, or lavender. Plant it where you can enjoy its perfume daily: near a doorway, along a path, near your patio or deck. Excellent cut flowers.

• Introduced in 1989 by David Austin, this lovely rose was named after an Omani princess at the request of her family.
