Borne in clusters, the charming blossoms create a ravishing multicolor display. Blooming in flushes from early summer to frost, the showy flowers entice passing butterflies to use them as perfect landing pads. They stand out against the glossy mid-green foliage. Easy to grow, low maintenance, cold-hardy, disease resistant, this robust shrub rose can be grown on its own, as a hedge, or in the garden among other perennials, shrubs, or roses for an easy care display of consistent color.

  • Grows up to 3-4 ft. tall and wide (90-120 cm).
  • Best grown in full sun in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Mulch in late winter and, to improve flowering, apply a balanced fertilizer in late winter or early spring.
  • An excellent choice for beds and borders, city gardens,cottage gardens, patio containers or as a colorful hedge.
  • Deadheading not required for continuous blooms.
  • Keep an eye out for aphids, rose leafhopper, scale insects, caterpillars, large rose sawfly, rose leaf-rolling sawfly, black spot, rose rust and rose powdery mildew.
  • Cut back by about half to one-third its total height in early spring.
  • Propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in late summer or hardwood cuttings in autumn, or by chip budding in summer.
