The blossoms have a moderate fragrance and bloom in flushes from spring to early fall. The luminous flowers stand out against the lush foliage of leathery, medium green leaves. A strong, classy and handsome shrub rose that is very disease resistant and has withstood the test of time. Perfect for beds, borders or as a flowering hedge. A great rose for cutting too.
- Grows up to 3-5 ft. tall (90-150 cm) and 2-3 ft. wide (60-90 cm).
- An excellent choice for beds and borders, flowering hedges, or containers. Stunning when mass-planted. Excellent cut flowers.
- Best grown in full sun, in rich, fertile with adequate moisture, well-drained soils.
- Propagate by hardwood cuttings in autumn or by chip budding in summer.
- Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that
