  • Grows up to 6-8 in. tall and wide (15-20 cm).
  • A full sun or part shade lover, it is best grown in humus-rich, consistently moist, well-drained soils. Plants will go dormant in hot, dry summer weather unless they are kept well-watered.
  • This plant is very versatile and can be used in beds and borders, cottage gardens, city gardens, or in containers. Perfect for underplanting shrubs and roses.
  • A low-maintenance plant (cut back after flowering). Watch out for pests such as aphids, leafhoppers, vine weevil, slugs, and glasshouse red spider mites. May be subject to gray molds.
  • Propagate by seed sown in spring.
