Trollius / Globe Flowers

Glowing in the late spring to mid summer garden, Trollius (Globe Flower) are striking perennials with attractive, bowl-shaped flowers resembling double buttercups. Born on erect stalks, the elegant blooms rise above a clump of deeply divided, dark green leaves. Native to the cool temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere, they usually grow in heavy, wet clay soils and thrive in damp environments where they cheerfully bring their brightly colored blossoms.
