Thuja – Arbovitae

Widely grown as ornamental trees and extensively used for hedges, Thuja (Arbovitae) are conifers of great beauty that add structure and color in the landscape year-round. There are hundreds of cultivars available in all possible shapes, sizes and foliage color. Providing year-round structure, they make wonderful specimen plants, add vertical lines to the landscape, are perfect for hedges and even rockeries or containers. Easy to grow, cold hardy, they prefer moist, well-drained soils and require little maintenance.
