Ranunculus – Persian Buttercups

Ranunculus (Persian Buttercups) are tuberous-rooted plants boasting semi-double to fully double blossoms, 3-6 in. across (7-15 cm), adorned with multiple layers of delicate, silky petals and darker centers. Prolific, each plant produces masses of very long-lasting flowers (up to 6 weeks!) atop sturdy stems. Rising above a lush foliage mound of finely-cut leaves, they bloom in early-mid summer in cold climates (planted in spring), or in early-mid spring in mild climates (planted in fall). Whether treated as perennials or annuals, they add brilliance to the garden and make magnificent bouquets with a vase life of 7 days. Deer resistant.
