Pelargonium – Geraniums

Pelargoniums, commonly known as geraniums, are a large group of mostly evergreen and tender perennials used as bedding or houseplants. Often grown as annuals, they produce flowers of breathtaking beauty over a long season. Their leaves come in a variety of shapes and sizes and may resemble ferns, grape leaves or oak leaves and may be deeply divided or nearly round. Some are wonderfully fragrant, exuding aromas of rose, peppermint, lemon or nutmeg. Easy to grow, they are terrific additions to containers, hanging baskets, window boxes and sunny borders.
