Lavatera – Tree Mallows

Resembling hollyhocks (Alcea), Lavatera (Tree Mallows) is a genus of 25 species of annuals, biennials and perennials boasting large, funnel-shaped, colorful flowers throughout the summer. Easy to grow and low maintenance, they thrive on any well-drained soil and are excellent in coastal gardens. Use them at the back of the border or in large containers, in combination with other annuals and perennials.
