Iris reticulata – Dwarf Irises

Native of Turkey and the Caucasian Mountains, Dwarf Irises (Iris reticulata) are a gem in the small beauties with grass-like leaves and striking fragrant flowers with intricate markings that burst into bloom in late winter to early spring to create an effect reminiscent of butterflies hovering low to the ground.

Perfect for containers, rock gardens, under trees and shrubs, or at the front of borders, these little bulbs are easy to grow and quickly produce offsets that multiply into generous drifts of color. Deer resistant and drought tolerant, they do not require a lot of attention. A must in the garden!
