Dianthus
Dianthus is a genus of about 300 species of flowering plants including annuals, evergreen perennials, or subshrubs with narrow, usually silvery-gray leaves and showy flowers with notched petals. Common names include Carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus), Pink (Dianthus plumarius and related species), and Sweet William (Dianthus barbatus). Most Dianthus varieties have fragrant flowers in shades of pink, red, or white. Deer resistant, multiplying ready, great for cut flowers, there are so many types of Dianthus that there is surely one for your garden.
