Corydalis – Fumeworts

Wonderful for the shade garden, Corydalis are perennials boasting colorful clusters of small, spurred flowers, often fragrant, above handsome clumps of lacy foliage. They brighten up deep shade spots and require little attention. All they need is a rich, well-drained soil in a cool spot. They are perfect as groundcovers, in rock gardens or woodland settings and intermingle beautifully with other early shade-loving plants like bleeding hearts, daffodils, violets, or primroses in beds and borders.
