Clerodendrum

Clerodendrum is a genus of about 400 deciduous or evergreen shrubs, trees or climbers. Native to subtropical and tropical woodlands of Africa and Asia, some are grown primarily for their large clusters of showy flowers. Others are prized mostly for their delightful fragrance. Either way, they are a great addition to the shrub border, as a specimen plant and can also be grown in containers where not winter-hardy.
