Polystichum setiferum Pulcherrimum Bevis (Soft Field Fern)

A remarkable and ravishing fern, award-winning Polystichum setiferum 'Pulcherrimum Bevis' (Soft Field Fern) is an elegant evergreen fern forming a pretty rosette of lance-shaped, erect to gracefully arching, glossy dark green fronds. The pinnae are long and aligned in a series of sweeping arcs towards the frond tips. The stems are coated with attractive cinnamon-brown scales which contrast nicely with the dark green feathery foliage. Low maintenance, this Soft Field Fern enjoys a long season of interest – including winter when it adds a sparkle to the dullest of winter gardens.
