Pinus heldreichii ‘Malink’ (Bosnian Pine) is a densely branched evergreen conifer of conical habit adorned with a lush foliage of lustrous, stiff, upright, rich green needles. Egg-shaped cones appear at an early age, in groups of 2 or 3, blue at first then turning purplish-brown. Slow-growing, 6-10 in. per year (15-25 cm), handsome, compact and resistant to harsh conditions, it is a lovely choice for the sunny garden.
