Philadelphus coronarius Variegatus (Variegated Mock Orange)

Noted for its elegant variegated foliage, award-winning Philadelphus coronarius 'Variegatus' (Mock Orange) is a compact, rounded, deciduous shrub boasting medium green leaves irregularly bordered with creamy white. In late spring to early summer, its pleasantly arching branches bear abundant clusters of very fragrant, cup-shaped, 4-petaled, white flowers, 1 in. across (2.5 cm). Magnificent in bloom, this Philadelphus selection is equally attractive when not in bloom, thanks to its bright white variation. Consider planting near a patio, so the fragrance can be enjoyed.
