Hosta Sagae (Plantain Lily)

Among the most popular variegated hostas ever introduced, Hosta ‘Sagae’ (Plantain Lily) is a clump-forming perennial forming an impressive mound of large, thick, wavy, widely oval, frosted blue-green leaves turning gray-green, and adorned with broad, irregular margins. Emerging bright yellow, the margins turn creamy-white as the season progresses. Celadon streaks are painted in the area between the center and the margin.
